Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data matters to us. We process your data solely on the basis of the applicable law (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). This is an English translation for your convenience; the German version is the legally binding one.

Controller

No cookies, no tracking

This website uses no cookies, no analytics tool and no tracking scripts. No usage profiles are created. That is also why this site needs no cookie banner.

Map / directions

For directions we first show a static image (map data from OpenStreetMap, embedded when the site was built). A map from Google is loaded only once you explicitly click “Load Google Maps”. Doing so transmits your IP address and details about your browser to Google (Google Ireland Limited; transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible, safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is your consent given by that click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). As long as you do not click, nothing is transmitted to Google.

Server log files (hosting)

When you open the website, the hosting provider automatically stores technical data (e.g. IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) in what are known as server log files. This processing serves secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not combined with other sources.

Contact form

If you write to us using the contact form, we process the data you provide in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Delivery to our inbox goes through the service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA – safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses). We do not pass your data on to further third parties without your consent, and we store it only for as long as handling your enquiry requires.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When the site is opened, Vercel processes technically necessary connection data (including IP address, time, address requested, browser type) in server logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel; the transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

• Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15)
• Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
• Erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18)
• Data portability (Art. 20)
• Objection to processing (Art. 21)
• Withdrawal of a given consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(2))
